Connection failed

Make sure to select the correct network (Ethereum Mainnet). Normally on the wallet provider, user can switch the network in the settings option.

On Ledger natively or over MetaMask:
- Make sure to unlock and select Ethereum app.
- Make sure contract data is allowed on the Ethereum app settings.
Coinbase Wallet
- Use the scan QR option to connect.
- If users want to access directly from Coinbase wallet just go to app.dank-protocol.com on the browser within the app.
Wallet connect
- Use the scan QR code to connect
- If users want to access directly from other wallet just go to app.dank-protocol.com on the browser within the app.
Fortmatic
- Make sure to switch to Ethereum Mainnet.
- If users want to access their wallet interface just visit: https://zerion.io

Enable contract data on Ledger

Make sure to select the Ethereum app and enable contract data.

To enable contract data:

Connect and unlock the Ledger device.
Open the Ethereum application.
Press the right button to navigate to "Settings".
Go to "Contract Data" and it may display "NOT Allowed".
Make sure it is switch to ‘Allowed‘ by clicking the two buttons at the same time.
Then, the Ledger enabled to make transactions.

Failed in sending transactions

Users need to have enough ETH in the wallet in order to process interaction with the protocol. Likewise, users must have ETH in the wallet for the transaction costs otherwise the transaction will not be processed.

The site does not load

First of all, it is recommended for all users to use Google Chrome Browser as the primary browser.

The solutions blow may solve some problems:

Make sure the internet connection is working and stable
Restart the browser and try to connect again
Try to hard refresh the site with control + F5
Check if there are any updates for the browser or wallet provider. If so, update it to the latest version.
If the site still won't load after taking the steps above, users will have to use the protocol in another browser.

Transaction status is stuck pending confirmation

Under this circumstances, users are not recommended to continue sending transactions, since every new transaction will be stuck pending the oldest transaction to be confirmed. Users can get rid of the stuck transaction by boosting the speed or cancelling it. Depending on the wallet that users are using, you may have that option natively.

For example, MetaMask or Coinbase wallet have both the options to cancel or speed up transactions.

Alternatively, if the wallet provider doesn't have this option, users can still drop the stuck transaction by sending a 0 ETH transaction, to a specified address using the same nonce (number id). The nonce in the transaction can be inspected in Etherscan and use interfaces such as MEW and MyCrypto to send this transaction with a higher gas cost and replace the one that is stuck.
